# Saved By Music Foundation

> Saved By Music Foundation is a non-profit organisation (NGO) in Mbale, Eastern Uganda, founded in 2009 by Kyewalyanga Fredrick. It rescues street children and vulnerable youth and transforms their lives through music education, schooling, skills training, and community support. It is home to the Elgon Youth Brass Band and the Koona Cultural Troupe.

## Ways to support

- Donate: one-off gifts or monthly giving. Child sponsorship starts at $30/month (school fees, materials, meals, bedding, healthcare). A $10/month Supporter tier covers meals and basic care; a $100/month Patron tier funds full programme and music support.
- Donate instruments: brass instruments, keyboards, and drums — new or gently used.
- Volunteer: music and arts, education and literacy, health and child care, events and outreach, infrastructure and skills, digital and communications.
